Getting your puppy home to Florida
Orlando, Florida is roughly 1,100 road miles from Billings, Missouri — about 19 hours by road. For this distance an in-cabin flight nanny to Orlando International (MCO) is usually the most comfortable option for a young puppy, and we will quote it in writing. Pickup in Billings is always welcome too. Florida is in the Eastern time zone; Billings, Missouri is on Central time, so we schedule calls and travel times with that in mind.
Our nearest airport is Springfield–Branson National Airport (SGF), about 25 miles from Billings. Read the full delivery & pickup process.

Raising a Doberman in Florida: hot, humid summers
Dobermans have a short, single coat and a deep chest, and they can overheat quickly in heat and humidity. Plan walks for early morning and evening, keep fresh water and shade available, and never leave a puppy in a parked car. Mosquito season is long in warm, humid regions, so ask your veterinarian about year-round heartworm prevention. Many airlines restrict pets in cargo during summer heat, which is one reason we prefer in-cabin travel with a flight nanny or ground transport for warm-weather deliveries.
