How Lexington buyers get their puppy

Lexington, KY is roughly 600 road miles from Billings, Missouri — about 10.3 hours of driving. Buyers here usually choose between ground delivery, a long-drive pickup, or an in-cabin flight nanny to Lexington (LEX).

Every reservation is confirmed in writing, and travel arrangements, costs, and dates are agreed before anything is booked. See delivery & pickup.

Doberman life in Lexington

Expect both hot summer afternoons and cold winter mornings. Dobermans handle moderate weather well but need protection at both extremes: shade and water in July, and a jacket on the coldest winter days. Plan exercise around the temperature and adjust indoor play when the weather turns.

In a city setting, plan for daily structured walks, early socialization to traffic and crowds, and positive-reinforcement training. Check Lexington's local rules on dog licensing and rabies vaccination, and make sure your lease or HOA allows Dobermans.
