How Lincoln buyers get their puppy

Lincoln, NE is roughly 370 road miles from Billings, Missouri — about 6.4 hours by car. Many buyers in this range choose to pick up in person by appointment, making it a day trip or an easy overnight. We can also discuss a meet-up point or ground delivery.

Every reservation is confirmed in writing, and travel arrangements, costs, and dates are agreed before anything is booked. See delivery & pickup.

Doberman life in Lincoln

With a short single coat and little undercoat, Dobermans feel the cold more than many large breeds. Most Doberman owners in cold-winter states use a fitted dog jacket for winter walks, keep outdoor time short in sub-freezing weather, and wipe paws after walks on salted roads. Winter storms can delay flights, so we watch the forecast closely and keep you updated before any travel day.

In a city setting, plan for daily structured walks, early socialization to traffic and crowds, and positive-reinforcement training. Check Lincoln's local rules on dog licensing and rabies vaccination, and make sure your lease or HOA allows Dobermans.
