Doberman puppies for sale for Lubbock buyers

Searching for Doberman puppies near you in Lubbock? Melvins Dobermans LLC raises Doberman Pinscher puppies in our family home in Billings, Missouri, and works with buyers in Lubbock and across Texas. We do not have a kennel or office in Lubbock — we would rather tell you that plainly and explain how buyers here actually bring a puppy home.

How Lubbock buyers get their puppy

Lubbock, TX is roughly 630 road miles from Billings, Missouri — about 10.9 hours of driving. Buyers here usually choose between ground delivery, a long-drive pickup, or an in-cabin flight nanny to Lubbock (LBB).

Every reservation is confirmed in writing, and travel arrangements, costs, and dates are agreed before anything is booked. See delivery & pickup.

Doberman life in Lubbock

Dobermans have a short, single coat and a deep chest, and they can overheat quickly in heat and humidity. Plan walks for early morning and evening, keep fresh water and shade available, and never leave a puppy in a parked car. Mosquito season is long in warm, humid regions, so ask your veterinarian about year-round heartworm prevention. Many airlines restrict pets in cargo during summer heat, which is one reason we prefer in-cabin travel with a flight nanny or ground transport for warm-weather deliveries.

In a city setting, plan for daily structured walks, early socialization to traffic and crowds, and positive-reinforcement training. Check Lubbock's local rules on dog licensing and rabies vaccination, and make sure your lease or HOA allows Dobermans.
